This post is public because i WANT people who arent on my friends list to be linked to this. To all those that it concerns, I WANT to let you know how pathetic and small you are. I'm a pacifist and i never like to see a rift between anyone. So when i heard about this, it pissed me off no end because its intended to be a malicious joke.
I was linked to a forum page on UK Step where I was informed that members of the website who are attending the MCM Expo are planning to "disrupt" the proceedings and "steal the limelight" by all turning up in their UK Step t-shirts. Upon reading a few of the replies, i have come to the following conclusion...
How fucking pathetic are you?
Do you honestly sit there behind your PC screens giggling like little schoolgirls at the thought of your grand scheme?
I'll tell you what this reminds me of... High School. When i was an immature little shit.
I swear its like a fucking soap opera. Grown men and women bickering like 14 yr old schoolkids and fighting over toys.
Grow the FUCK up.

I'm on the third play through of my 10th style OST... I swear it sounds better each time i listen.
I will get on with revision for tomorrow's exam somewhen soon... "Linear Algebra", fun!
fuse and DNA are in Germany... rolling up people like a giant katamari... or something. o_O
Comedy was great last night... Tony Hendrix was on. I'm sure i've heard his name before. Turned out to be a great laugh and everyone loved him. Jamaican comedians are funny :D
I still have holiday shopping to do, but i suppose that should wait till after exams.

Ive kinda had enough with the whole day by day thing (and my life hasnt been that interesting lately anyway)
3 points id like to touch on, cos my time in cyprus hasnt been completely rosy...
1) ALL MOSQUITOS CAN GO FUCK OFF AND DIE tbh. Its like im a fucking bloodbank or something...
2) NO! I will NOT have a 4th helping of dinner... ive eaten enough already. "EAT! EAT! EAT! EAT! EAT! EAT!" its all im ever told to do ffs
3) Im sick and tired of being sick and tired.... AKA im on holiday to rest... i will sleep whenever the fuck i like. If i go to bed at 1am, expect me to sleep till at LEAST 10am... Whats the point of being on holiday when im completely knackered the whole time due to lack of sleep...
Oh, and another thing... Cyprus drivers are all crap...
Anyway, back to happy happy stel.
It is my brother and sisters birthday today. Theyre 11 and theres a big party with lots of food planned for it. Which means i wont hear the last of it from them or anyone else.
In bemani news, we found a beatmania 5th mix, which was awesome fun, for the whole of the 1 credit it was working >_>
Slowly learning greek... thats another thing getting on my nerves as well... The greeks are so intent on letting everyone know they exist. "You must learn Greek so you can speak to us..." Hmm... well, why dont you learn English then? |

Day 5 cont.:
Well, my evening with Irene was... interesting, but fun. Were meeting again to go cinema to watch Garfield later this week.
Day 6: Morning, i went to the passport offices to aquire an exit visa... yes, thats right. If i dont pick up exit papers, they stop me at the airport and i have to go to the army to do my 2 years national service.. ouch :(
Evening was good though. Went to Limmassol to meet my uncle and his family, and we were all invited to a birthday party of some long distant relative twice removed etc. etc. i dont actually know her name, but there was food, so i wasnt complaining :D
Day 7: Today we went to Fig Tree Bay... just past Agia Napa and one of the nicest beaches in cyprus. Spent most of the day there really. Then back home for a shower and some food, and now im here... At this fantastic internet cafe/bar/pool hall. I might get a picture. Mucho classy :D |

Well, i learnt from Norway and Italy that its difficult to keep everything till the end to type into LJ... cos i never remember :\
Anywhoo...
Day 1:
Manchester Airport by 4:30pm, plane by 7pm, Cyprus by 11pm... however cos of time difference, its 1am over there. And despite it only being 2 hours difference, it fucked up my sleeping pattern somewhat :/ More on that later though.
We were just arriving in Larnaca Airport and the captain messaged us over the intercom to give us the local time/weather as they do... 1 am in the morning, and 27 degrees Celcius. I think the majority of the plane chanted "WTF" at the same time :P
Arrived back at my Aunt's house which is where i am sleeping for the duration of the holiday... Had a bite to eat then went to bed.
Day 2: Woke up around 1pm, which wasnt bad, till i remembered that Cyprus is 2 hours ahead of UK. Grabbed a bite to eat, and didnt do much for the afternoon as it was blinding hot (36C), and we were to 'acclimatise' to the weather... hmm.. anyway, during the evening when it had cooled down a bit, we went off to the beach to have a dip in the water for an hour or so. After going back home and showering, we went to the main road in Larnaca, kinda similar to the main road in Rimini, i.e. it was on the sea front and there were a lot of shops and restaurants and arcades... and no... before anyone asks, we didnt find any Bemani :( Got back home and went to sleep around 1am... or 11pm UK time. Here is where the fucked up body clock comes into play. I didnt fall asleep till at least 3:15am, and i had to be awake early the next morning. Fuck :(
Day 3: Early wake up call... 9am (UK: 7am) to travel to Limassol. A city in Cyprus which is west of larnaca (Larnaca is on the South east corner of cyprus). We went to meet my uncle who had holidayed to cyprus at pretty much the same time as us. Had a chat, then drove back around 1pm to siesta. On the way back though, we had heard rumours of a DDR machine in Limmasol. So we took a detour to see if we could find it, and lo and behold, there it was... a DDR 3rd plus. Unfortunately, the machine was off :( So no Cat's Eye for me. Back home to sleep... Woke up again around 6pm, then went to Agia Napa... tourism has fucked that place up :( However there were a few busty babes around.
There was a small theme park with a few small rides and bumper cars and generic stuff... Arcade... thought, meh, theres no harm in lookinf for DDR. OMG... DDR Solo Bass Mix! It is however the shittest mix of songs. There was about 12 in total :/ And i could only work out how to get Trick mode... forgot the Maniac. Anywhoo. Another theme park right next door. Except it was small and shitty. Another arcade... and another DDR mix... except this was a DDR 4th! Woohoo! Jackpot. Played 1,2,3,4,007 first, then Flashdance and Young Forever. Then had some awesome Battle mode songs with pics. (Bee:Kick the Can: 3 greats :D) Went back home for another restless night :( 90 mins to get to sleep this time. And another early wake up call... except this time... WATERPARK FUN!
Day 4: Woke up 8am, breakfast, then back off to Limassol for waterpark fun. Fassouri waterpak, the biggest and best in Cyprus, and it lived up to its name... The only way i can describe to you how awesome it was is through pictures, and they will be up when i get back home. Also, i sucessfully managed to burn myself to a crisp, and that isnt even an overstatement :(
In the evening, we were invited to a restaurant in the British Forces area of Cyprus which is about a 10 minute drive from our house. Their speciality? Fish and Chips... I had a lamb and "sheftalia" kebab and fish and chips, and i can honestly say that was one of (if not) the best meals ive ever had in my life. Went back home, to sleep with the most intense burning pains in my back and shoulders.
Day 5: Had a lie in, woohoo! and now im here. I hijacked the PC at some relatives house to come on and write this...
This evening, im meeting Irene :D Cant wait to see her. But for now, im off home to eat and sleep through the midday sun. Ciao!!! |
